It is quiet now
No one to hear this absence of sound
The rush is over, the stress is down
Finally I can breathe
It is quiet now
Hold your head high
Look right, go left
Just one more hurdle and here’s another test
Balance your world, hers and all
I cannot fail, I must not fall
But it all matters later, why and how
Think of it tomorrow
It is quiet now
Go ahead sit, your nerves are a mess
It doesn’t mean you’ve quit, you just need to rest.
It’s okay, you can relax, clear your mind and let go
You’ll need strength to do it all again tomorrow
You’ve earned this break, you should be proud
Enjoy this time you have
