It is so sad that you
have parted from your words
the very essence of your intention
Now grasping at straws to hold
an anger that only you
had knowledge of until it
sprung on to me like a hungry
tiger knawing on my bones
that once fed your heart
Kept you warm and longing
to snuggle as we were apart
Calling me early to comfort
your fear of a noise outside
and all I could do is hold your voice
in my heart to speak the words
and lull you back to sleep
It is so sad
that now I fear your voice
To hear those words regretful
of our union as if my
intentions were of secret
longing not to your love
but only to mine
Such illusion have you brought to
our world to render it void
Wishing it had never taken place
It is so sad
