I said I will always be me
Then the years went by and we held true
To what we believe
Then, she called to say that you are there
I found out that you were never here

I smile to hide my regrets
You smile to hide your shame
Fighting to stay alive in this love game
After all these years who is too blame
I got a glimpse into your world
And realize that this tale is getting too damn old

I’ve been waiting here for you to come home
Trying to brace myself for the future
Without you in my life,
I know I have not been able
To give you what you need,
And the funniest thing is
You don’t know how I feel

I say it is time

It is just the time to say our good byes
Our love was enough for us to let go
