It never rains when i want it to

It’s just a day
Not forever
My love
Will never cease
For you…
Like yours has for me…

It’s just today
Not tomorrow
Seeking for
Something I’ve never known

That’s all I pray.

You can find all the intricacy
Delicacy
Supremacy
In your small dark mind
There’s nothing to hide from
Yeah right.

Open up your world
Share a little story
Find the touch
of a lost companion
Seeking to return

It’s just a day
Not forever
My love
Will never cease
For you..

Like yours has for me

It’s just today
Not tomorrow
Seeking for
Something I’ve never known

That’s all I pray

You can’t see the animosity
Out your window when it rains
As beautiful as the rain is
Dark shadows peer straight in

And fear that I have to leave you
Lingers in my mind
Sleep remains a last resort
My body is left behind

I tell you try and kill the doubt
Find some hope, shout it out
What this means is up to you
You know what to do…

Why do these tears fall?
Why does the rain call?
When will we meet again?
You’ve pained me for too long

Stuck
Now

Hurt
Now

Dead
Now

Lost
Now

I miss you.
Now.

I liked the flow of your poem, it really spoke to me... love so cruel, love so kind, definitely speaks of the pains. Nicely written. (Report) Reply

There! little girl; don't cry!
They have broken your doll, I know;
And your tea-set blue,
And your play-house, too,
Are things of the long ago;
