It's Enough Poem by Sam Fischer

It's Enough

Rating: 5.0

You are the person I love,
Although I'll never hear those words returned,
Part of me will always be with you,
No matter where you are,
Perhaps it makes me a lesser man,
Perhaps I'm really a fool,
But I speak the truth, there are no lies,
Because what I feel is pure,

I miss the way we were,
I miss your gentle side,
I'm stuck in this everlasting loop,
I can't tell you what I knew,
That we we were never perfect,
At best a huge mismatch,
But I fell for you, I wanted more,
And that wont change soon enough,

Was I really that bad a person?
Did I treat you poorly and lie?
I don't think I did, and I won't apologize,
For simply being me,
All I can say is you are the one,
I'll always hold inside,
Being far from the one I love,
Is nearly destroying my pride,

So for now I write these verses,
I tell myself it's enough,
To be able to express my feelings in poems,
Because I'll never tell you, It's tough.
I want to be a better man,
Perhaps I will be, in mind,
And in closing all I want to say is,
The I love you, forever, all-time
