It's His Fault, I Swear

Rating: 5.0

Dear Lips,
Please forgive me if I stutter,
It only happens when he’s around.
For some reason my words never seem to come out right.

Dear Mind,
I’m sorry for the confusion,
I can’t quite determine the signals he keeps sending me.
I promise I’ll figure it out soon.

Dear Hands,
Pardon all the shaking and the sweaty palms,
If it wasn’t for him, I know I could settle you.
Give me some time and your trembling days will be over.

Dear Conscience,
I know I keep telling you that I’m over him,
But it has come the time to tell you that I’m really not.
Please forgive me for this misunderstanding

Dear Knees,
Just ignore the weak feeling you get every time he walks by.
Please don’t give out on me,
I promise that soon enough you will be stable.

Dear Heart,
I know I have put you through enough,
But this time I think you’ll really like him.
He’s the one that’s been making you beat faster and slower at the same time.
Don’t let your guard down too fast though,
Keep yourself prepared for heartbreak.

Dear Tummy,
I’m sorry about all the flips and jumps,
If he’d stop smiling at me, you wouldn’t have to go trough that.
But don’t blame me for all the butterflies in there,
I had nothing to do with this, it’s his fault…I swear.
