It's In The Eyes Poem by Jamey Einrem

It's In The Eyes

Everyone can see the beauty
The brilliant green
The tiny particles of black
The mystic white
But they tell me everything

If I would only look into them
They would say I am happy
They would say I am hurting
They would say help me

If I would only look into them
They would tell me to stop
They would tell me to just listen
They would tell me to love

If I would only look into them
They would tell me to shut up
They would tell me to smile
They would tell me to touch

If I would only look into them
They would say look at me
They would say I need more
They would say I’m still here

They tell me everything
If I would only look into them
