Spring and It's Snowing


It had been announced
snow would soon be
in the throw of things
all things spring
sassy and bright
to my delight.

It's snowing
everyone cries
get your umbrella
get your hat
find your shovel
spread some salt
it's not your falt.

Spring is independant
comes when she wants
goes when she pleases
get out the tissues
time for sneezes.

Spring
twirling in the snow
weaving patterns for
sleigh riding delight
a sight to see
so delightfully gay is she...
