It Wasn'T Easy Poem by Paul Mwenelupembe

It Wasn'T Easy

I took the blanket with my foot
And ate the cold star by schoes
It smelt hell. That gear of hope in his face
I hit and hit it was my tone
Two miles ahead with the bridge
That gear of hope in his face
Split the waterway amillion of graves
But I crept courage and produced the anchor
And remained still. Crossed, crossed the soul,
while dripping red ink, that fool torture
My effort! I crossed the king now; I will look
O! It wasn't easy

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
We may encounter bad situations in our lives but what we should know is that it will come to pass sucessfully. Almighty God is with us all the time He sees us and He makes us overcome then, isn't that beautiful? The poem is talking about a situations that happened while I was still in school. Reading or studying was a burden to me though I had to push ahead resourcefully. Exams had to bring tense, but all in all I suceeded. God's hand is awesome!
