It Will Not Help To Breakdown Completely Poem by Shalom Freedman

It Will Not Help To Breakdown Completely

IT WILL NOT HELP TO BREAK DOWN COMPLETELY

It will not help to break down completely
It will not help to lose it all
It will not help to let the nervousness and anxiety
Overwhelm me
It will not help to give in to weakness fear
It will not help to become a burden to others
It will not help to just not be alright
I must hold on
I must resist
I must maintain myself
However difficult this is
I am older sicker tireder poorer more harassed and troubled
But I must hold on and not collapse
Other people I love do not need the sorrow and trouble
I might bring them
I must hold on and strengthen myself
And pray God will help me go on as alright
I must be as alright as I can as strong as I can
All the way to the end.
