Its Just A Dance Poem by chris bowen

Its Just A Dance

deal out the winning hand
kill out as many as you can
i wont fan for oprah
i wont stand for movies like cobra
i gotta know ya

dream a different dream
see what i mean
i lean in, i check out
we are, with no doubt
the mouth of the south

little head, miss december
yeah i remember
the finger went in
and the path screams a sin

its just a dance
another chance
the lover and his vans
on foot, but, wants to be, me
i see
its just a dance
a chance

i was a lover
of finer things
then the
bottom bell rings
i dont sing for money, honey
but you gotta love me

its just a dance
another chance for romance
if you wanna be a dance
then come on
come on

listen little girl
in this part of the world
i get fist fights all night
but i never get it right
come on
come on

this is my paultry attempt at being motley crue and writing a real rock song.
