Its The Last Midnight Poem by alice spakrs

Its The Last Midnight

As the darkness comes over me.
All I can see,
is the sound of Death's evil bells ring.
And the angel of darkness sing.

Its the last midnight.
Its my last glimpse of sun light.
Its my last chanced to say,
Why I went this way.

I was sick of the pain,
I was sick of the grief I've gain.
I wanted to find my way back to where I was before,
Before you and I went to war.

Its the last midnight.
Its my last glimpse of sun light.
Its my last chance to say,
Why I went this way.

You took my heart and you made it brake,
Then throw it into the bottomless lake.
I thought you cared for me,
I guess I was a fool to this, I see.

Its the last midnight.
Its my last glimpse of sun light.
Its my last chance to say,
Why I wen this way.

I was wrong to give you the time of day,
Now I'm on my way.
To my final destination where my path ends.
And where Death's singing begins.

Its the last midnight.
Its my last glimpse of sun light.
Its my last chance to say,
Why I went this way.
