Iwant You To Be There Poem by Colette Grosvenor

Iwant You To Be There

I want you to be there because you want to,
Not because there is no one else.
Not because just your sad or blue,
Not through pitty because I'm sat there all by myself.
Why can't you like me for who I am?
Don't use me as a last resort.
Is this your evil scam?
To you is this just a cruel sport?
Are you just using me?
Or are you abusing me?
I want you to be there because you want to.
Not because you have to.
