Jack Frost's Canvas Poem by Jean Dament

Jack Frost's Canvas

Rating: 5.0

A nature artist is performing his best work on a blank canvas of glass,
His crystalized fingerpaintings are superior in the most frigid of weather,
He creates unique fernlike shapes;
That lace & streak their way across each widow pane,
It leaves the rarest of designs like snowflakes....where no two are alike,
This artwork will surely captivate with all it's beauty,
Lending no words to speak, amid these wonderous creations;
While taking one away momentarily from their busy lives;
Where they're left contemplating... could Jack Frost be a kinder & gentler soul?
But wait...for soon you'll remember how cruel his frosty nip can be in the depth of the coldest winter.
