Jacobs Ladder Poem by Sally Plumb Plumb

Jacobs Ladder

Rating: 5.0

And did I climb
a snow-capped mountain
to find that you weren't there?

And did a bitter wind
of loneliness wrap me
with cold care?

And did you know
my desperate struggle
would have a fruitless end?

And did you know
I loved you more
than just a casual friend?
