Cries Gandhi, the Father of our Nation,
Not Britishers but the menace of corruption,
Has drowsed the fire of my nation,
Alas, is there no one who can fight corruption!
Rose a voice from the crowd,
Anna it was who made us proud,
One man who etched history,
Corruption is no longer a mystery.
It’s me and you who could light the fire,
In our hearts filled with strong desire,
In our prayers, we hail the true Gandhian,
Jai Ho Hazaare, I am proud to be an Indian!
