Jail boys

in this world of pain

you gotta use your brains

you drive eachother insane

you pop pills and cut veins

you aint takin life far

sittin around in bars

bein high thinkin about mars

just makes it so hard

you go out to a party

you get real drunk

you dont kno what goin on

you knocked a girl up

next thing ya kno

your payin child support

then you got cops

knockin at the door

by the time your kids five

hes carying knives

got a gun in the drower

nobody makes the mistake

of callin ya poor

criminal records

stand by for life

dont make mistakes

for youll go back to jail tonight.

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.
