Japan Poem by Ragy Sandid

Japan

Were you there?
Sitting in the lazyboy
wishing you were there
To take notes and compare
To find out who has the biggest share
Of a thousand year of silence?
All screams are in an eye's stare.

Were you here?
When you bought the brand
And damned the world for your fear
Of not getting the price because others were dear
And you want to go somewhere near
Where you pay nothing..just the gas.. maybe
The cost is dear!

Are you there now?
Would you like to hear
The wishing of the ocean in your ear?
Would you like to take their bow?
Or the rushing of the tide as it comes near
Or the sight in seconds of someone dear
As she balances life somehow
Then balances life after now
Can you see them now?

Can you see just a single tear?
It's in the atmosphere
It's about to drop

Can you hear?

The silence that was stormed
After thousands of years.
