Jealousy Poem by divya pillai

Jealousy

She walked around the mountain with glee,
I'm beautiful, she said, just like the sea,
Her name was Andrea.

Her voice commanded everyone,
Animals, birds and even the rebellious ones.
The brave ones kneeled before her
There was no choice but to surrender.

But all of a sudden, a woman passed by,
Her face was golden with pretty blue eyes,
Her hair was brown just like the ground,
Her voice was sweet, melodious and sound.

She was surrounded by the whole town,
No one around her cast a frown.
Jealous was Andrea who became mad,
Anger raged, frightening the lads

Insanity loomed over her crown,
She let out a final frown,
Fell into the sea and let herself drown.
