Jealousy
I see her everyday,
Dark hair, nice eyes and slim.
I know he sees her too,
And I know she thinks of him.
I’ve heard it on the grapevine,
“There’s something going on! ”
Now I get that sickened feeling,
As I’m listening to our song.
It’s me he should be wooing,
And I’ve worked for this prize!
What’s she got that I don’t have,
Big boobs? Great ass? Slim thighs?
So no-one said life’s fair,
And it’s not the biggest deal,
But I can’t help being shattered.
Have I lost my sex appeal?
Maybe it’s what he wants,
Striking envy in my heart.
If so then surely I’ll play too.
Until we’re torn apart.
