Jelly Beans Poem by Matt Kwasniewski

Jelly Beans

Rating: 5.0

The jar is half full I have three in my palm
I've got yellows, blues, and reds what should I eat?
Palms begin to sweat I'm no longer calm
Pupils dilate I start to feel the heat
Turn up the bass and blast the techno
I am craving OJ, get me some juice
I can't get enough of the sticks that glow
I focus on the tracers that they produce
Dancing round without a care in my brain
So much to say I cannot stop talking
Speech about nothing these things are insane
I am feeling great and O so loving
Jelly beans are cool, I'm having a blast
I will eat another one so this lasts
