Jesus Did It All Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Jesus Did It All

In peace I walk life’s narrow road
I fear no more to die
Christ Jesus took the heavy load
That Satan had me buy

I thank the Lord for saving me
Who called to buy His wares
Silver and gold He gives us free
Because He loves and cares

Christ, life’s treasure, God’s risen Lord
The knowledge, that He’s King
The power of His mighty sword
Love’s gift for us to sing

God knew not one could claim to bear
The price we’d have to pay
So Jesus came God’s love to share
And teach to walk His way

To meet the price Christ had to die
Man nailed Him to a tree
Although the price was awfully high
God paid for you and me

The bible says He did it all
So death would lose its sting
That who believe and heed the call
Will live with Christ their King

Who sin repent who turn about
Who now confess their shame
Who let true faith consume their doubt
Will reap a brand new name

Believe and walk God’s righteous way
Heed well Salvation’s call
The Blood of Christ still calls today
For Jesus did it all.
