Jesus, Jesus, God Of Mercy Poem by Hebert Logerie

Jesus, Jesus, God Of Mercy

Rating: 5.0

Jesus, Jesus, God of Mercy,
When will Thou come with your ropes
To catch and cuff the gangsters, the torturers
The sycophants, the criminals, the false popes,
The hypocrites, the marauders, the murderers,
The racists, the traitors, the thieves and the outlaws,
Who've violated your Commandments and your Laws?
They forget that they're like little frogs in the ponds,
And they can be crushed in a matter of seconds.
Look at them; they're making a funny sound.
They think that You're kidding around.
Jesus, Jesus, God of Goodness,
When will Thou return to bless
The innocents, the martyrs and the victims?
Tomorrow, I'll climb the top of the seams,
To glorify thy name, to comprehend
The jargon behind the echo, and finally to understand
The hints or the gifts which Thou offer me daily.
When, when will Thou return, God Almighty
To save us from all types of cancer, AIDS, Ebola, and Death?
When will Thou set foot on the wounds of Mother Earth?
