Jesus, Jesus, Jesus Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus

Rating: 4.5

I'm happy, glad, now pleased so much
Over the moon and more
I've heard God's voice, felt Jesus' touch
First doubtful, now I'm sure

Jesus, The Christ, Jesus, God's Son
Jesus, Salvation's Way
Jesus, through whom true victory 's won
Surely will win The Day

Sceptic first, believer at last
With He who cannot fail
No more faring life's ship half mast
But with The Wind full sail

On a plain more straight than a die
More steady than a rock
With my Saviour always nigh
This ship will find Life's Dock

At sea, on land, or in the air
In my Redeemer's hand
Though here, there or anywhere
Jesus will take command

Though skylarks and angels can sing
True love's a perfect mother
Wisdom and knowledge is one thing
Christ Jesus is another

Life often brings trouble and strife
Brings soil, the morning dew
But joyful everlasting life
Christ can give me and you

Without Jesus beat the retreat
Without The Lord on high
Without The Christ, admit defeat
Then be afraid, to die.....

An insightful depiction of THE AMAZING GRACE well articulated and nicely penned with conviction. Lovely devotional piece of poetry written in total submission to HIS Will. Beautiful indeed. Thanks for sharing Michael.
