Jesus O Jesus
Left thy heavenly kingdom
Into this, but sinful world

To die and save me as a sinner
Yet, you were rejected

You gave me love
But I returned hatred

You healed the sick
But you were misinterpreted and misunderstood!

Your own betrayed you
Yet, you adored and cared for us!

Your heavenly character was assassinated
Now your assassins have realised and praised your good deeds!

Though sinners,
We look up to you
To take us, where you belong!
But only with thy Mercy!
