Jesus Saved Me Poem by Wanda Henderson

Jesus Saved Me

Rating: 0.5

Before our beginning a long time ago.
There began a story of love and woe.
It's a story of giving and of love,
It's about a man that came from above.
This man was made of the finest things.
His hair was made of golden strings
His feet were made of fine brass.
His conscience was as clear as a pane of glass.
His heart was as good as the world is round
If his love were a liquid we all would drown
He has a face so perfect it made the angels cry.
To save our souls from damnation he had to die.
But he rose again and is now in HEAVEN
I gave my life to him when I was ten or eleven.
One day we'll be together again
But for now this poem is at an end.
