Jesus Vs St.Paul Poem by Nash Thomas

Jesus Vs St.Paul

Brainy words are logical,
Brainy words are rational,
Hearty words are touching,
Hearty words, always patting.

Brainy words are controlling,
Fearing always deviations,
Hearty words are loving,
Thinking always oneness.

Controlling nice for the worldly,
Patting, nice for the godly,
Feeling lots of difference,
Difference between Jesus and St. Paul

Churches always like St.Paul,
They always like controlling,
Jesus taught love and peace,
St.Paul taught Rules and austerity.

Rules and controlling go hand in hand,
Love and caring go hand in hand,
Think deeply in your inner mind,
Your inner mind will teach you the truth

How all these things are happening in the world,
You will find that only for wealth,
Creating wealth for the benefit of a few.
A few like to decide your destiny,
Destiny for their benefit,
You will learn rightly,
You will gain freedom,
Freedom as Jesus spoke.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
n studying the Bible, we can see lot of difference between Jesus' teaching and St.Paul teaching. His way or approach is more or less tuned by brain and the emotional side or emotional intelligence was very poor. The son of God, preached love is the be all and end all, but St.Paul always preached about the adherence to the rules and regulations. Actually he provided the way of present church administration. A complete deviation on the Jesus Christ approach on spirituality. Jesus focused on mind, he focused on logical and rational thinking. Jesus Christ could permit prostitute to accompany him in the path of divinity, but St.Paul's mind never allow such concept. Still, many preachers teaches both are same. According to me both are different schools of thought. One love based schools of thought and other logical based schools of thought. Many a time logical based schools of thought is more lenient towards worldly leaders way of thought rather than godly man way of thought
COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Jesus was emotional and St Paul was practical. Since a system of life cannot sustain itself St Paul`s approach if any, cannot be treated as inferior. He wasn`t that bad like the organised church that came into being later on... What is appreciable is your willingness to question the institution of the Church. The poem has got a new theme to dwell on and what might haunt you ahead is the need for better adherence to grammatical requisites. Thank you.
