Jitters Poem by Dorsey Baker

Jitters

a whole plate of naked
nakedness
normally served
with a crystal glass
of red flavorful wine
active of the deadly
and the fully alive
multiplying old grudges
boiling point
of the boiled egghead
shaped more or less
by its past experience
distrust and bitter
ramifications
fireball of fisted eyes
edged razor blades
target of isolation
and contempt
