Johnny's Funeral (The Outsiders) Poem by Jenkin Tsui

Johnny's Funeral (The Outsiders)

I am hosting your funeral,
Ready to be separated.

Holding your photo,
And accompanying you to go through the gate.

Memories for me to recall,
The days that we were together.

We were playing the ball,
No matters what was the weather.

I am remembering all those events,
I am thinking our tuff hair look.

Gone with the wind that I lent,
Is a really good book.

Swaying so high,
touching the sky.

You've just gone to the other side,
You've not yet died.

Dawn goes down gradually,
Nothing could stay.

Even if you leave me today,
Our friendship never fades away.

I lower my head,
And feel my body trembling.

Every time I lay on the bed,
I can hear the rumbling.

I remember sometimes I was sad,
When you were in trouble.

I want you to be back,
Let this be a dream.

I wonder when you will be back,
And greet me joyfully with a beam.

Sadness is my care,
And I keep seeing you in the air.

Sometimes on a lonely mountain mere,
My heart has a tear.

Your touch is long long away,
Let angels guide your way.
