Joker Poem by Andrus Cassian

Joker

How did I reawaken to a villan
How did I reawake to a villan
seen only by me in the gaze of the mirror
seen by Sarah
experienced in a early morning escapade
How did I wake up a villan
Sarah, why must I convince myself a fool in front of you
To fight for you, is that all I'm destined to do
Four years, it all boils down to the dreaded four
I spent without you
Four years I spent without you
since it took an entire year for me to endure escaping you
This turn around in me to return in to you
I wish I knew what started it
I guess I just couldn't see you lonely anymore
The flame spell of love I cast around you
I always lit a silent spark in my pocket for a fond memory
guess I've let it devour me
All I did was want her back
now there's a knife in mine again
in the shape of the Joker card
Oh no
Green hair, white face, purple suit
and an uncontrollable laugh...
I try to scream in terror...
but in terror screams a mocking laugh at my useless endeaver
How did I reawake a villan; how did I reawake a villan
