Joking Too Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

People made me to change
I was shy of advancing age
How far I shall tolerate being useless!
They will often call me as nuisance

I gave serious though
And decided not to be caught
In public controversy
And left it to the blessings of an almighty

I moved of some of the friends
I made some mend
Stopped smoking
And to some extent joking too

People have noticed
Gradual change and smiled
They have commented on this too
And I feel it somewhat true

I shall form my own attitude
And keep no more feuds
I shall be straight and simple
And side with people for their struggle
