Joy Poem by Logan McDougall

Joy

Have you ever felt it? Like rushing waves of water pouring And soaring, filling up your stomache and into your esophogus. Till it Lapps over your tongue and out of your mouth suffocating the room with a flavor of love, peace, and happiness. Leaving an aftertaste when brushed clean it still remains. Like A rail road track that goes and never ends like the thing in my heart that let's me know I'm alive! Like a ball against a wall if I throw it away it will always bounce back. Deep in meaning and deep in color like the midnight sky oh they'll always be another! Just as one prayered laced Christmas toy all of these bring hope and a reason for joy!
