Judgment Poem by Duy Bui

Judgment

Shadows in the snow
uncertain existences awaiting.
One was cleansed longest,
Though not deepest
Only the gods up high bear
Then they noticed he
Stains in clefts
One was cleansed longer
Though not favored
Only the gods up high claimed
Then they accept him
Blemished heart now
He was favored, cleansed of others,
An endless circle
Only the gods up high abide
Foot prints in the snow
