Jumper Poem by Leonard Dantzler

Jumper

It's colder tonight than last
and you are no where near to steer the cold away
It rained all night, it made me think of your pain
I try to tell you to let me go but I'm too selfesh and afriad that you actually will
So Now I've grown to hate the miles that bar us apart
And I wonder If time could tear us apart
I sleep in a state of hopefulness and wake up to this forsaken town
Where will I be next in body? Forever with you in soul
I embrace the thought of you without embracing you
Am I breaking you?
How much pressure can I take before I'm done in by my own hand?
I breathe only to exhale, I slowly take you in
I shake the thought of shaking you loose, forever you are mine
this Vampire Love, The true Trueblood
Tease Me with your teeth
Touch me with your tender hands and send me to extasy
Lick your lips and say you love me in a whisper that would send my spine into a tremor
But keep on your glasses and let your hair fall over eyes so I can tuck it behind your ear and kiss your cheek...your lips
passionate lovers seeking forever in each others arms
