the storms came
and the waves were furious
the hardheaded ship
sailed
and it sank
sacrificing 240 lives
buried
under the many leagues
of the sea
mute to the bottom
the
sacrificial lambs
are dead and so
silent
up there
in the cool offices
of the lords
they toast
for another success
on another
huge
insurance claims
