June... June...June Poem by Frank James Ryan Jr...fjr

June... June...June

Rating: 5.0

JUNE...JUNE...JUNE
____(Style: Romanticism) ____

This is for June n' all th' Summers it brings
Wind chasing bells of a Church steeples ring
Ole' songs of wedlock o'er top hat, n' lace
'fore June passes torch...to July's scarlet face

Grown trees, full jackets of multi-hue green
Th' last pink magnolia leaf still can be seen
There's a breeze on air that carries th' scent
Of sweet honeysuckle......fresh efflorescence

Night brings the Archer, June has its motive
Resplendent bright arrow... a lovers sweet votive
Moonlight romance, 'neath a nautical breeze
Makes love in June dance like starshine on sea.
