Good-bye, my friend, good-bye!
I wish we had been friends…
And talked to me you lied
So tightly holding hands.
You have been just a ghost
Of my unfaithful dreams,
I was for you a host,
A fleeting passion stream.
I want to lie myself,
To be, let’s say, just friend…
You couldn’t tell me truth…
Good-bye, good-bye, my friend!
