Just A Glimpse Poem by S Holland

Just A Glimpse

Rating: 5.0

What is this?
This feeling that I need
Just a glimpse of you.
What will a glimpse do,
But add to my desire for you.
But what pleasure is had
From looking upon you,
And anything
With which you have to do.
I live to see you,
And love all
That has to do
With you.

We can become quite immersed in our infatuation for another, can't we?

Just a glimpse is not enough. Oh how I love this one. Our desire for someone will not be satisfied with just a glance we need the complete attention directed to the object of our desire. Good write.

@Khairul Ahsan I'm glad you enjoyed it. The simplest language can make the biggest impact.

You have described it well enough. 'Anything that you have to do and anything that has to do anything with you add to my desire for you' is an experience that is common for lovers to go through. Your comment, 'A Glimpse just adds fuel to the smouldering fire.' is so true! To answer to your note: Yes we can and we do.

@Khairul Ahsan It's how many feel, but don't know how to describe it. Thanks for reading.

Anything that you have to do and anything that has to do anything with you 'add to my desire for you'. What a nice way of seeing love! I am amazed.

True, Patricia. A Glimpse just adds fuel to the smouldering fire. Thanks.
