Just An Ending Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

Just An Ending

Critical are the worried words
within a world in utmost chaos.
Havoc, in noun and verb and adverb
releasing its hopes and schemes upon a
dreaming population. Dreaming of hopes
and inspirations, and having few aspirations
just to be able to release those hopes that
reside within all those highly improbable
dreamy daring thoughts without means
to effect completion. Begging the question:
Have you released your dreamed of hopes and
then, found cause to close your minds, to hide in
those fears of forgotten dreams and self-realized
woes? Peace, knowledge and belief are in the winds
which no longer grace the consciousness of those
who seek the deeply imprisoned passions of all
beings living in a world in chaos. This world
void of passion and compassion fashioned
from dark nightmares and wicked minded
actions disparage appreciation, enhance
ignorance, dance upon the passionate
and inflict restrictions upon the masses
illuminating in a limiting deceit; holding
all travelers wandering easily expressing
that nothing wills to say differently or to
stay out on an opening road in the driving
rains that promise to bring change and innovation
and the many pleasures once wrote of words from clear
imagination; that spoken serenade, breathing in a right to
freely, and gently cage chaos poetically, induce in it, that
melody derived from the loves and ruled by an opening
heart's painted in words hopes, against the critical
belittling of those seeking to forget in ink every
written piece; and break the flow of aggression
that has far too many words stuck in drearily
imagined pictures and upon shooting stars
remaining in closed minds and on numbed
tongues causing hurt to that pen painting
a just path to this picture being hanged
what once was pure, as gifted works of
beauty and art; now just an ending.
