Just Call It A Day Poem by Ray Hansell

It's been such a long time
Since I've heard from you
I'm feeling so lonely
I'm not sure what to do

The nights drag on forever
The days are not much better
I feel as though my life has been
Put through a giant shredder

I feel like I'm falling apart
Or slowly going insane
I just never believed
That love was meat to be a game

But now I am realizing
It's a game I no longer want to play
So I'll just say goodbye to you
Then we can just call it a day
