Just Like A Dream. Poem by Honny Zubedi

Just Like A Dream.

Rating: 5.0

Didn't last long those sweet days;
Went away fast and didn't stay.
Those sweet days when we were together;
Where we went the birds used to gather.

Sunlight on gardens in spring;
The love in us was at the brink.
Those happy days we used to roam together;
Those lovely places we used to go together.

The nights we used to sit and talk;
Those blooming paths we used to walk.
The moments I used to kiss you;
I recall those moments too.

When we talked of love,
Time used to stop;
Birds used to watch,
And leaves used to drop.

Now again the leaves are falling;
In the lonely hours of this morning.
For you my heart is still yearning;
But like always you aren't returning.

To die now is for me the most easy thing;
Like flying for birds is the most easy thing.
Before dying, to see your sweet face would be;
The best moment in this lonely life for me.
