Just Me Poem by Kelly Aragon

Just Me

Rating: 5.0

I'm no princess,
All pretty in pink,
I won't act any different,
I am me,

I'm no cinderella,
With a sparkeling gown,
With little glass slippers,
I'm an ordinary girl,

I'm no snow white,
With her seven dwarfs,
The ones that she lives with,
That help her with chores,

I'm no rapunzel,
My hair isn't long,
It reaches my shoulders,
And it's not super strong,

I'm no Ariel,
Swimming in the sea,
I'm not a mermaid,
I'm just a teen,

I'm no Jasmine,
I don't know Aladdin,
I don't have a flying carpet,
But I do wish I had one,

I'm no princess,
With a prince charming,
But I can tell you,
That I am just me.
