What to believe when someone says your moving too fast
All in ma heart i believed it would last
I've missed ma chance and im seein it slip away
I try to hold you back but you speedin down the freeway
I want to believe that this is only a misunderstanding
Why does it feel like the only chance i had at love is no longer expanding
So he no longer likes what he believed i was
It hurts when all i wanted was to float in his arms above
He been played and hurt once over and over
But just because no pain could be cured he sent me away like red rover
