Just Past The Park In Park Street Poem by Gert Strydom

Just Past The Park In Park Street

Just past the park in Park Street
there are people
that squat around a small fire
and the flames burn orange yellow
and the heat attracts a small group of people,
that does not bother about the smoke smell
that is drawn into their clothes.
