Just Prayer Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Just Prayer

Rating: 5.0

O Lord, O God, Father of all
Your love for all and still unconditional
I beg your mercy to come to rescue
Help me in life to see and review

From the pit of confusion
I want to develop the vision
Help for those unwanted and uncared
Who have remained neglected and never dared

As I walk in the middle, I find you nowhere
I am lost, lost as if no one is around me to take care
When I continue walking and offer prayer
I find something like confidence layer

What have you done to me?
Shown no real path to feel free
You have sent me in this world
Allow me to stay and in your fold

I ask for forgiveness and reprieve
Even though I might have been deprived
You are powerful and mighty
I want your blessings with continuity

I will never weep
And lament for the missed ship
You may anchor the ship and take to shore
I need only that and nothing more

Forgive me for my sins
As I am only human
I may err but forgive me for ever
I shall pray always and miss you never

I shall ask for nothing
As it may amount for something
I wish peace and only love
I follow the path and firmly believe
