Just Pretend, Life Goes On And On

When you wake up
like me, just pretend
that nothing really
happened.
that is the way
how life goes on.
it may look back
but it does not say anything.
it looks at the window
to the road and sees
a car, creating eddies of
dust towards a far away
place, which of course,
does not necessarily
include us, just me moving
and just you, going home.
