J-ust rise above the rest,
O-ver the deepest water;
C-limb the highest hill
E-ven during vile weather.
L-et your head rise above,
Y-our mind keeps the faith;
N-either of them will weaken, as you hope, pray and wait.
D-o rise above the rest,
I-n spite of sacrifice;
C-hoose between win or lose,
U-sing your open eyes.
L-et your life rise above,
I-n spite of criticism;
N-either heart nor soul departs from optimism.
B-elieve and trust in God,
A-llowing Him to guide you;
H-e'll answer your prayers
I-n the sky wide and blue.
L-et the Lord play His part,
L-etting you solve the test;
O-ctober fourteenth morn, just rise above the rest.
