Just Strangers Poem by Bianca Free

Just Strangers

Rating: 5.0

I want a lover for the month
Without strings connected
And then another for September
And one more in May
I want it easy and presumptuous
No conversations between us
Or nicely wrapped presents
Or consolations, or sympathies
Our hearts can't be in it
So that they can make it out whole
Nor can our souls be involved
We're just strangers to each other
We're just meeting for the hundredth first time
It isn't a crime
