He shouted her name
As he ran across the street
Once she saw them
Her heart skipped a beat

He went up to her and grabbed hand
'please wait please try to understand'
He said as it started to rain
The rain hid her tears
The rain hid her pain

'Aw Come here.'
He said as he wiped her tear
He went behind her
And held her close
Regretting the choice he [a year ago] chose

Oh this feeling did she miss
As he said
'Please let me hold you please just this'
