I agree with you, there's very little sincere communication amongst humans. It always seems contrived, studied, hypocritical, hidden.....Openness does exist but encountered rarely, among best friends, perhaps? And now, with all this social electronic communication, personal self -expression may get worse or maybe better, if we know how to handle it. In any case, I liked your poem very much, everything that is expression and language touches me. I think you expressed beautifully that we should communicate more with our hearts and less with hypocrisy and protocol.Really, know people instead of pretending to know them.

You reminded me of the well known adage never feign affection a socio-philosophical take on bland conversations that go on ad nauseum all around us... Mutterings and stutterings....really meaning nothing It would seem the more we are connected the lesser the connect among us…. nice poem on a less frequently mentioned topic in poetry liked
